Motivating Story of A Milk Boy

The Milk Boy and a Glass of Milk

This is a Highly Motivating Story of a Milk Boy who never forgot a good Deed done to him in his childhood and repayed that person for that one good deed of offering just a Glass of Milk

The Story of A Glass of Milk
It was early in the morning. There was a knock at the Door. She opened the door to pickup the milk bottles. But she was amazed to find the Milk boy standing there. He was only as old as her own sons. He usually leaves the milk bottles and goes away. So she had never seen him before. They looked at each other. She noticed something odd in him. He looked tired or unwell. He requested for a glass of water and without saying anything she went inside.

A Glass of Milk to the Milk Boy.
She was returning from her kitchen with a glass of water for the milk boy when she thought about how he looked. He was looking pale and unwell. Probably he has not had breakfast either. She went back to kitchen and picked up a glass of milk instead of the water and Offered it to the Milk Boy.

The Milk Boy is Surprised at the Glass of Milk
As he waited hungry and thirsty, she came with the tray on which stood a big and beautiful glass tumbler filled to the brim with white milk. He was surprised and his heart raced. How can it be? The milk he supplied was not bad at all.

She offers the Milk Boy a Glass of Milk.
The milk boy was having totally embarrassed look on his face. She took the glass of milk and offered it to the milk boy and told him to drink. The boy was again surprised. The milk was as fresh as it can be and it was sweet from the sugar she had added liberaly. For a hungry and thirst dehydrated body of a milk boy from a poor family this was a full meal because he could not afford to drink milk with his meagre earnings as a milk boy.

She Forgets the Milk Boy.
The milk boy said, "Thankyou for your Kindness, Ma'am" and vanished as fast as he had appeared at her door. After a few days She forgot about the milk boy too.

She has Cancer and is in Hospital.
She was old now and had cancer. Her husband died long ago and her children left for greener pastures never to come back. She was all alone and could barely make her ends meet with the meagre pension she gets on behalf of her dead husband. Her kind neighbours admitted her to the hospital.

Her Neighbours Were Not So Kind.
The doctors diagnosed her cancer and decided to do an operation. But the large amount of money required had to come from nowhere. Her neighbours were not so kind either. She cursed, "God, why did you give children?"

She Remembers the Milk Boy.
The Doctor came and took her to the operation theatre. It was a successful operation and the doctor told her that she will live for many more years. The a nurse came and gave her the bill. After seeing the bill she wondered how will she pay up such a large bill. That is when she saw a small hand written note under on the other side of the bill which said, "Fully Paid with a Glass of Milk, The Milk Boy."

Who Paid the Bill?
She asked the nurse. Who paid my bill?  The nurse looked at the bill and recognized the signature below it and said, "Your Doctor, Ma'am."  Today after so many years she had a reason to remember her milk boy story. She prayed, "God, Thankyou for your kindness."

Motivating Story of a Three Idiots Gurudakshina

Motivating Story of Three Idiots

This is a Motivating Story of a Guru, his Gurukulam in the Jungle, his Three Idiot Shishya (Students) and their Guru Dakshina. Since this incident all Schools made it a rule that there will be an Exam to be Passed before you are admitted to the School.

The Forest Guru (Teacher) Gets Three Idiots as Shishya (Students)
The Guru had set up his Gurukulam (Old Indian School) deep in the forest. He used to spend hours meditating and Praying to God. The Gods became very impressed with the Guru and gave him powers.

The Forest Guru Trains the Three Idiots Students
The three idiots were the Guru's first batch of students who were actually ultimate creations of God, three absolute idiots. The three idiots did not learn any thing their whole life with their parents and that is when they heard about the Forest Guru and brought them to the Guru who they thought could tickle their brains to make them stop from doing stupidities.

The Forest Guru gets tired of the Three Idiots
Everyday the Guru made it a point to teach not more than one lesson, one trick or one event because he was told about their mental calibre by their own parents. The Guru had vowed to make them intelligent. He did everything possible humanly to make them learn. He did his best and at times even forgot his daily meditation and prayer regimes so that he could devote more time training his shishya, the three idiots. Finally after about a few months into the training the Forest Guru grew tired of the stupidites his shishya would do the moment his eyes are off them.

The Forest Guru Ends the Three Idiots Course.
The Guru could not take this any more and wanted to now get rid of the three idiots. His reputation was at stake with the very first batch of Shishya. He could not even imagine that. So many years of meditation and prayers to please thd Gods will go waste if he fails to make these three stupid idiots pass out of his jungle Gurukulam institution as intelligent students.

The Guru's Idea !  Throw out the Three Idiots.
The Guru thought for many days, day and night, when he was awake and when he was dreaming, how to get rid of the three idiots shishya. He just decided enough is enough and called his three shishya and said to them, "See my dear Shishya. All of you have done very well. You have learned all the tricks I taught you. All of you have excelled in every test I took. So I have decided that your course should pass out of the Gurukulam as there are no more syllabus left to be taught.

The Three Idiots wants to give Gurudakshina
On hearing the Guru's decision to pass out their course half way through, the three idiots became very happy as they could now go home from this god forbidden jungle where life was very boring and not much scope for doing much stupidities everyday. But that is when they thought about the customary Gurudakshina. (Gurudakshina is something special that the shishya offer their Guru before they go home, after they complete their jungle course. The Gurudakshina is something of a final test of what they have learned at the Gurukulam).

The Guru doesn't want Gurudakshina from the three Idiots.
The three idiots went to their Guru and asked him what he would like to have as Gurudakshina from them. The Guru makes it very clear that he doesnot want anything as Gurudakshina. He just told them to leave the Gurukulam happy. But the three idiots insisted on Gurudakshina.

The Guru asked his Gurudakshina fromt he Three Idiots.
The Guru finally agreed half heartedly and said to his three shishya. If you are so keen on offering Gurudakshina then just go and get me one needle. It will help me stich my torn cloth. The three idiots were very happy to hear that and went out searching for a needle.

The three Idiots finds a Needle and a Big Question
The three shishya went to the nearest village 50 km away on the outskirts of the jungle braving all the jungle animals like tigers, lions, elephants, snakes etc. In the village they were could find a needle and they started back on their 50 km journey to the Gurukulam. When they were half way through the jungle, one of the three idiots said, Hey who will offer the needle?

The Three Idiots Found a Solution to the Daunting Question.
They kept the needle aside and sat down to find a solution to this big question of how can one needle be offered by three shisya as Gurudakshina. They came up with a very novel idea. They identified a large wooden log and stuck the needle on top of the log. Now all three of them lifted the heavy log and started the rest of their journey to the Gurukulam energised only by their happiness of having found a great idea which they were eager to tell their Guru who should praise them for having used all the tips and tricks they had learned at the Gurukulam in solving such an big unanswerable problem.

The Guru Learned a Lesson from the Three Idiots?
The three idiots reached the Gurukulam totally tired and exhaused carrying the half a ton log with the small needle on it. But their spirits were very high. They. kept the log down in front of the Guru and announced. Hey Guru here is your Gurudakshina. The Guru said, I asked you for only a small needle not a wood to make a house. The three idiots were not listening to him. They were searching for the needle they had stuck on the log of wood which somehow was not on the log. It fell off some where long ago in the deep jungle. The Guru threw out the three idiots with all the bad words blurted out in the loudest possible manner with a warning to never return back to his Gurukulam. That day the Guru wrote the first rule in the prospectus of his Gurukulam that there will be a small test will be conducted on the students aspiring to join his Gurukulam. This rule written by this Guru, thousands of years back in a jungle Gurukulam, is being followed even today in all the schools and colleges world over.

The Monkey finds an Apple
Once there was a monkey. He was very possessive in nature. His life was bliss and carefree. One day when the monkey was jumping around, he found an apple. In the morning sun rays it gleamed and the red shine emitted by the apple was irresistible and the monkey ran down from the tree and picked up the apple.

The Monkey Can't Eat the Apple
The monkey was very happy with the beautiful looking apple and he carried the apple up the tree. He sat on a high branch hidden from the view of all the other monkey's and tried to eat the apple. But somehow the apple was too hard to bite. The poor monkey did not know that the apple fell off a basket of toys a merchant who passed through the jungle. The apple was made of wood. How could the monkey eat a wooden apple?

The Monkey Carried the Apple Around the Whole Day
The monkey had found out that the apple he found cannot be eaten. But he lived in hope. He tried to break it by throwing the apple down from the tree top. It didn't break. Then the monkey tried to break it open with a big rock. It didn't work either. Then the monkey tried dipping the apple in water. The apple kept floating in water. But he carried the apple knowing very well it is useless to him and cannot be eaten. But the apple looked too beautiful to be abandoned. So the monkey carried the apple the whole day.

Now the monkey was too tired to even walk or climb a tree.

Finally the Monkey Threw Away the Apple
After two days of wasted effort and painful failures the monkey finally decided to throw away the Apple. The Monkey mustered all his effort and threw the useless wooden red shining apple to vent his frustration. The with whatever energy he was left with he climbed the nearest tree and ate the fruits he could reach first ripe and raw because he was dying of hunger. From that day the monkey learned his lesson not to waste his precious time and energy on worthless things.
