Motivating Moral Story of Mothers Love

This is a highly inspirational and motivating moral story about how a mother bird sacrificed her eye to save her son a life times embarrassment.


Once there was a boy who hated his mother because she had only one eye.

She once went to his school and all his classmates started ridiculing him for his mother’s ugly appearance. His mother never went to his school after that day.

He grew up to be a big man and was married under one condition that his mother will not be seen anywhere during the entire function.

Years later his old mother came to visit his family as she could not stay away without seeing her grand children at least once.

Her son shouted and abused her for landing up uninvited and making them embarrassed in front of their neighbours.

A few years later there was a family reunion. When he reached his ancestral house he could not find his mother anywhere in the gathering and was very happy.

Out of curiosity he asked some relatives about her. They told him that she died two days back and the funeral was yesterday.

She was bedridden for about a year and a letter was handed over to him that read “Dear son, I know I have caused you only embarrassments all your life. I want you to know something I never told you before.

When you were very young you had an accident and lost one of your eyes. I did not want you to grow up with one eye.”
