Motivating Story of Lion King and Fox

Motivating story of Lion King and Fox

The Motivating Story of Lion King and His Minister Fox who was foolish enough to invite death because by living with the Lion King he is also elevated to the same status as the Lion his Boss.

The King of the Jungle Lion
Once upon a time there lived a Lion. In his young days he was a powerful hunter. He was the King of the Jungle and all animals were afraid of him. He would kill any animal he found anywhere at any time. His reputation as a merciless killer travelled far and wide. Even other lions in nearby  forest would shiver when they hear him roar.

The Lion King is Growing Old
That was the old story. But now he was growing old and he was not able to hunt on his own. Nine of ten hunting attempts fails and he goes hungry for days. Old age and hunger was going to kill him. The animals were not getting scared and they have started ignoring the Lion Kings presence. This was more hurting to him than his hunger.

The Lion King Wants a Minister
The lion would lie around and keep thinking about how to earn his lost pride back. One day the Lion King gets an idea. He announces that he has a job opening. He needs a minister. The minister gets to stay in the Kings Palace Den and can eat on the same table with the King. What more, the lucky minister will be given a signed copy of a contract saying that his life will not be touched by the king as long as he stays the Kings Minister.

Ministerial Candidates Failing Interview was the Lion's Lunch
Many Carnivores applied for the post. Almost all the grass eaters however, did not even apply for the post as they thought it better to stay away from the King and in any case they cannot share a meal with the King. Most small animals who came for the interview into the palatial den became the Lion's lunch or dinner. Some were too small to be even a breakfast for him. There was a Fox who was secretly witnessing these interviews and was fully aware of what was happening. Finally, the cunning Fox sneaked in after a large carnivore had gone into the den to attend the interview and has not come out because the king had this ministerial candidate for lunch and he was not hungry anymore.

The Lion King Interviews the Fox
The interview was conducted smoothly. The Lion was impressed with all the answers the cunning fox gave. He thought for a while and said, I appoint you as my Prime Minister. If you want you can recruit more ministers for yourself. Here is your "No Eat Me" Contract. As long as you stay my minister, your life is safe.

The Fox Hunted with the Lion King
For the next few months the Minister would hunt alongside the King. The cunning fox had the job of fooling the animals into the trap where the Lion would wait and ambush. The king was having a gala time eating more than his share. The Fox was also happy eating the liberal leftovers of his King. Life was going on smoothly for both of them.

The Fox Thought He is Not Below the King of the Jungle
The animals in the jungle were now afraid of the Fox more than the Lion King because he would lead them into the trap where the Lion would kill them. The story had travelled far and all animals now stay away from the Fox. The foolish fox thought that they were afraid of him and of late had started behaving like the King. He had started equating his status same as the Lion King.

The Lion's Minister Tries to Kill an Elephant
One day, early in the morning, the foolish fox and the Lion King went on a hunt. The fox wanted to prove that he has learned all the tricks of hunting from the king and wanted to prove that he could also kill animals. An elephant was eating some leaves nearby. The Lion King usually avoided confronting elephants, but the foolish Fox ran towards the elephant, even before the Lion could stop him, and tried to kill the elephant by choking the elephant by biting its huge neck. The annoyed elephant pickedup the foolish fox and banged him on the ground. It was instant death for the Fox.

Motivating Moral Story of Colours of Ball

This is a highly motivating and moral story of a school teacher who taught how to see the other man's perspective to his students.

The students in his class always had a quarrel over the same issues and each would assert that what he or she says is right and the other is wrong. They could never see the others view point.

The teacher had to find a way to tell the 9 year olds how to understand the view points of each other about the same subject. He divided the students in to two groups and made them stand on his left and right sides.

Then he showed a painted ball to them. He asked a student in the group to his right, “What is the colour of this ball?” The student replied, “White”.

Then he asked the same question to a student from the group to his left. The answer was, “Black”. He then gave the ball to the students to inspect and went away.

There were no more quarrels from that day in this teacher’s class. Are you still wondering? The ball was painted half black and half white.

Motivating Moral Story of a Poor Girl who died on the road.

This is a sad yet motivating story about a small girl whose father was run over by a car driven by drunkards.

She was just five years old. Her schooling was to start next week. She was their only child. They were poor and could not afford to have another child.

They had dedicated their life for her. They had to make a future for her. They had to marry her off. They had to save every penny for her education. Their worries and wish list was very long. He was a mill worker and returns home late.

Today he came early and the family went to the market to buy her things in preparation for the school opening next week. No bus service was there at that time to where they lived and they were not left much to hire an auto, so the family of three walked with the school bag, books and school uniform etc they had bought for their child’s schooling.

The road was generally empty except for some private vehicles. It was already night. That is when from nowhere a private car came at high speed, hit the father who was walking on the outer side and sped away not even bothering to stop.

A few meters away lay the heap of mangled pieces flesh and blood, the lifeless body of a poor father, the extinguished future of a small child, the dead husband of a poor woman, the sole bread earner of the family, the end of one more happy family on planet earth.

About a few hundred meters away, lay a few broken liquor bottles thrown out of the same speeding car.

Napoleon said, “How dare you ask your emperor a question like that. Arrest the General and execute him. I personally will give the order to fire.” Ordered Napoleon.

The General was blind folded immediately. The General now could not see anything but he could feel firm hands dragging him to some place.

The General walked silently without uttering a word, cursing himself for being foolish enough to have asked such a stupid question embarrassing the emperor, inviting death. The General's heart beat was increasing in anticipation of what was coming.

The General could hear the cocking sounds of the guns and even though he was blindfolded, he could still imagine physically how the soldiers must be standing in a line with more than a dozen guns aimed at him, awaiting the final order to fire.

The General's brain stopped thinking, his mind went emotionless, his body went numb and was no more under the control of his brain, he found it difficult to lift a hand up, his mouth was totally dry and he found it impossible even to make a small sound.

There was once an honest king who was known for his honesty and kindness in peace as well as his ruthlessness at war.

But now the king was getting old and wanted to have some one to take over from him. All his children were killed in the wars a few years back. So the King called his ministers and told them go and gather a hundred of the best young men in his Kingdom.

The ministers got a hundred honest young men lined up in front of the palace the same day. Most of them were the sons of ministers and high ranking officials of the King’s own army.

The King came and gave ten seeds to each of the young men and sent them off telling them to come back exactly on the same date the next month with the plants they have grown with these seeds.

After one month, they were all back with the plants. Most them had all ten seeds grown to amazingly big plants, some had a plant or two less. At the end of the line, stood a young man, empty handed.

The King went to each plant and inspected them very carefully. Finally he reached the young man at the end of the row.

The man said, “Your Highness, I did try but for a reason not known to me the seeds I planted did not germinate.”

The King smiled at him, took the crown from his own head and placed it on the young man’s head and announced, “Behold, Here is your new King.”

All the ministers and the King’s Army Chiefs and their sons standing in the line, who had all the ten seeds growing into strong plants in the flower pots, could not understand it.

The King sensed this and made his last statement before he retired, “I wanted an honest man to rule my kingdom. I had boiled and killed the seeds before giving it to you all, so that they do not germinate at all.”

The Coke company was initially succeeding in achieving their goal of 0.1 % increase in sales monthly. But after a few months the company found that even this small 0.1% increase in sales becoming difficult to cope with.

One day the CEO of Coke thought to change the strategy once again. He did a market survey to find out what is the total consumption of fluids of an average American.

The results were amazing. Each American drinks about 1.5 liters of fluids including water, tea, coffee, beer etc a day on an average and out that only 30 ml was soft drinks like Coke and Pepsi.

Now their conference was concentrating only on how to increase this 30 ml quota to at least 300 ml to start with. One of the executives suggested that they should make Coke available to the people when ever and where ever they felt thirsty or wanted to drink some thing.

To this end, Coke put up vending machines at every street corner. Coke sales were up more than ten times from then on and Pepsi has never quite caught up since.
