Motivating Moral Story of FootBall Goal

Motivating Moral Story of FootBall Goal by a mentally retarded child.

This highly motivating moral story is about a child who is mentally retarded and kicks a goal into his own team.

That was their first baby, a boy. The parents were so happy. As the child grew up they found out their son was lagging behind in learning everything compared to the children of same age their friends and relatives had.

They were drowned in sorrow to realise that their child is mentally retarded. The parents did not want have another child so they devote themselves for him.

They did everything they could to get their child mature as he grew and they spent every moment they could spare, with him.

They did everything they could as parents, to keep the child happy, concealing their own sorrow. They now lived entirely for him.

One day the boy was walking in the park with his parents. They saw some children playing football. The parents knew the child wanted to play too.

But who will let him play. The match was coming towards the last ten minutes and there was no goal scored by any of the teams.

The father went up to the captain of one team and requested for his son to play for a few minutes with them. The team captain refused.

He then went to the other team captain with the request. This team captain thought for a while and looked at the boy’s face which was beaming with innocence and enthusiasm.

Against the will of the entire team members as well as the crowd watching the local match, he allowed the boy to play. The boy ran around the football field running behind the football.

He never got to kick the ball but got kicked by the boys of his own team. Thirty seconds to go for the match to finish and he was near the goal post of his own team running behind the football.

And for the first time he got to kick the ball and it was a goal! The whole place went silent. The boy could not understand.

He has seen everyone shouting and cheering the player scoring the goal. Now he has scored a goal for his team and no one was cheering him.

The little boy’s underdeveloped brain could not understand that he has scored a goal for the other team.

The father could not take it any more and started cheering him aloud. The crowd and both the teams also realised the situation and cheered him in one voice.

He was made to feel like a hero that day by one all.

Moral of this inspiring and motivating story

“The least you can do is to give these children a little happiness.”
