Motivating Moral Story of Colours of Ball

This is a highly motivating and moral story of a school teacher who taught how to see the other man's perspective to his students.

The students in his class always had a quarrel over the same issues and each would assert that what he or she says is right and the other is wrong. They could never see the others view point.

The teacher had to find a way to tell the 9 year olds how to understand the view points of each other about the same subject. He divided the students in to two groups and made them stand on his left and right sides.

Then he showed a painted ball to them. He asked a student in the group to his right, “What is the colour of this ball?” The student replied, “White”.

Then he asked the same question to a student from the group to his left. The answer was, “Black”. He then gave the ball to the students to inspect and went away.

There were no more quarrels from that day in this teacher’s class. Are you still wondering? The ball was painted half black and half white.

Moral of this Motivating story of Colours of a Ball

“Imagine yourself to be the other person or just walk across & look from where the other person is, you can save a lot of avoidable arguments.”
