Consider the average expectancy of an individual as 75 years after which in any case everyday is a Sunday, if you live that long.

There are only 52 Sundays in one year.If you are already, say 40 years old then you have only about 1400 Sundays left.

If you were to buy some glass marbles and put into a glass jar then you can actually see how many Sundays you have remaining.

Every Sunday night before you go to sleep, remove one marble from the jar.

That’s life remaining with you.

Motivating Moral Story - Carpenter

This is a very Motivating Moral Story of a Carpenter who did a bad construction of his own house without knowing it is being built for himself.

An elderly carpenter was ready to retire. He told his employer-contractor of his plans to leave the house-building business and live a more leisurely life with his wife enjoying his extended family. He would miss the paycheck, but he needed to retire.

The contractor was sorry to see his good worker go and asked if he could build just one more house as a personal favor. The carpenter said yes, but in time it was easy to see that his heart was not in his work. He resorted to shoddy workmanship and used inferior materials. It was an unfortunate way to end a dedicated career.

When the carpenter finished his work, the employer came to inspect the house. He handed the front-door key to the carpenter. "This is your house", he said, "my gift to you." The carpenter was shocked. If he had only known he was building his own house, he would have done it all so differently.

Moral of the Motivating Story - Carpenter

“Every job you finish, reflects you. Give your best every time.”
