Motivating Story of World War Pilot

Motivating Story of a World War II Pilot

Motivating Moral Story of a World War II Pilot

This highly inspiring motivating story is about an American Pilot who almost killed himself trying to save the American Fleet of ships from the Japanese Bomber Planes.

On 20 Feb 1942, during the World War II an American carrier sent out its entire fighter squadron on a mission. One of the pilot found out that his plane was losing fuel and turned back. On his way back he found a squadron of Japanese bombers heading for the American fleet. His own squadron was too far to come back and help.

So the pilot started firing at the bombers as he had full load of guns & ammunition to stop them. His ammunition ran out soon. Laying aside all his personal safety, he started diving at the bombers in a hope to hit at least one more of the bombers with his own plane.

This suicidal attack by the pilot made the Japanese bombers to disperse and run back home. He some how made it to the carrier before the fuel ran out completely. His plane’s camera told the whole story. He had destroyed five bombers.

This pilot became the Navy's first Ace of World War II and was the first Naval Aviator to win the Congressional Medal of Honour. Lieutenant Commander Butch O'Hare was his name. One year later he was killed in aerial combat at the age of 29. O'Hare Airport in Chicago is named in tribute to the courage of this great man. His statue with the medal of honour is located between terminal 1 and 2.

Motivating and Inspiring Moral Story of Brave Girl in a Plane

This motivating and inspiring story is about a small brave girl traveling in plane when everyone else was panicking.

A passenger plane was flying through very heavy turbulence. The plane was being tossed up, down and sideways very severely. All the passengers were in panic.

There was utter confusion and chaos in the passenger cabin. The air hostess tried to calm the passengers down but failed miserably. Some passengers were praying to god furiously, some were calling up their near and dear ones.

There was a small 5 year old brave girl sitting totally calm and enjoying a comic book. A passenger sitting next to her asked, “baby, are you not afraid?” She said, “Uncle, my dad is the pilot of the plane and he is taking all of us home.”

Nothing happened to the plane and it landed safely at the destination. The pilot came out and the brave girl went jumping with joy with him down the stairs of the plane.

Moral of this inspiring and motivating story

“Don’t lose your cool when things go wrong. Always have faith in your leader.”
